چکیده
n this paper, we have implemented the finite element method for numerical solution of a boundary and initial value problems, mainly on solving one two-dimensional advection-diffusion equation with constant parameters. In doing so, basic idea is to first rewrite problem as variational equation, then seek approximation from space continuous piece-wise linear’s. This discretization procedure results in linear system that can be solved by using algorithm systems these equations. The techniques are based approximations Galerkin’s resulting order ODE’s backward Euler descritization time. Approximation of stochastic advection diffusion equations with finite difference scheme
In this paper, a high-order and conditionally stable stochastic difference scheme is proposed for the numerical solution of $rm Ithat{o}$ stochastic advection diffusion equation with one dimensional white noise process. We applied a finite difference approximation of fourth-order for discretizing space spatial derivative of this equation. The main properties of deterministic difference schemes,...

A Stabilized Finite Element Method for Advection–Diffusion Equations on Surfaces∗
A recently developed Eulerian finite element method is applied to solve advectiondiffusion equations posed on hypersurfaces. When transport processes on a surface dominate over diffusion, finite element methods tend to be unstable unless the mesh is sufficiently fine. The paper introduces a stabilized finite element formulation based on the SUPG technique. An error analysis of the method is giv...
متن کاملA Framework for Exploring Numerical Solutions of Advection- Reaction-Diffusion Equations Using a GPU-Based Approach
In this paper we describe a general purpose, graphics processing unit (GP-GPU)-based approach for solving partial differential equations (PDEs) within advection-reactiondiffusion models. The GP-GPU-based approach provides a platform for solving PDEs in parallel and can thus significantly reduce solution times over traditional CPU implementations. This allows for a more efficient exploration of ...
